Joe Jonas and DNCE Give Surprise Performance during THON

THON got an early warn on Friday night when only before 8 p.m., a lights dimmed and Joe Jonas (of Jonas Brothers fame) and his rope DNCE took a theatre for a stirring performance.

The despondency and dance-rock outfit worked by several of their possess hits, including “Cake by a Ocean,” and “Toothbrush” and tossed in a integrate discerning covers of Britney Spears and a Spice Girls as well.

“We’re doing this for a kids, am we right?” Jonas asked a throng after a band’s second song, “Pay My Rent.”

The set resolved with Jonas venturing out into a crowd, station on tables and nod supporters in a stands before he and a rope (and a Nittany Lion, who had assimilated them on stage) done their exit. 

Jonas is no foreigner to a Penn State universe. The Jonas Brothers’ manager was, Phil McIntyre, a State College native. Another State College local Jason Ganter, a former Penn State football player, was Jonas’ right-hand male as his executive assistant.

Jonas distinguished his 21st birthday during The Phyrst in 2010, and was speckled during a Rose Bowl sporting Penn State gear.
